Great tool to have around plus easy to use on my Jeep. The oil filter can be stubborn so I use this & Im happy with it.
It worked! I used it to open the large shower head so i could replace the filter
These are not flimsy. They're like channel lock pliers. You can choose 3 notch sizes so that the handles are always close to each other when you need to apply force. These fit my 50hp tractor filter, and my tiny generator filter. Caution, these will put dents into the filter when force is applied. So only use them to remove a filter, or you will damage the new filter.I like these a lot, especiallyfor the price. I do recommend them.
The ValvoMax 12" Adjustable Oil Filter Wrench is a great tool that deserves to be in every mechanic's toolbox when confronted with a stubborn oil filter. The wrench has an adjustable design that can fit on a wide range of oil filters, making it compatible with different engines and vehicles. The grip handle is comfortable which makes it easy to use and tighten or loosen the filter with minimal effort. One negative is that this wrench gets its twisting force by tightening its toothed jaws around the filter with the result that paint and sheet metal may be damaged and deformed. This isn't usually an issue as these filters are almost always discarded or recycled. The simplicity of adjusting the wrench and the snug fit to the filter allows for quick changes without much fuss or hassle
These are just as good as my tooltruck set and they are less than a third of the price . I recommend them 100% .
