Buy NowFor faster drain times, run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature then shut off. Remove the oil fill cap under the hood and set aside. Find appropriate drain receptacle.
Remove the ValvoMax™ dust cap. Connect the drainer by threading it onto the valve. After about ¼ of a turn, oil will start draining. Continue threading drainer all the way.
Replace the dust cap by hand-tightening. Store the drainer until next time and re-fill the crankcase with oil. Run engine for one minute and check for leaks. Always recycle used motor oil.
Each ValvoMax kit comes with a high-quality stainless steel valve, a drain tube assembly, a cap tether, and an aluminum drain pan washer for installation.

The valve replaces your standard oil drain plug. The drain tube assembly (included with the valve) contains an actuator with a tipped bayonet to urge the spring-assisted check ball upward, releasing the flow of oil. When the drain tube actuator is removed, the check ball is returned to its normally closed position. The valve is safe and will not leak.
The valve permanently replaces your standard drain plug.
After removing your drain plug for the last time, you can install ValvoMax using 3 easy steps.
Yes, in fact our valve is the safest on the market. Our valve is not operated by use of a lever, which could become accidentally opened during operation. And our valve doesn't protrude too far from the oil pan, which could be a problem for low-clearance vehicles. Our valve offers dual back flow security (the closed check ball and dust cap)
The components are precision machined in an ISO 9001 factory from high-quality 304 Stainless Steel. The seals are Buna O-rings (-35 ºF to 250ºF), specifically designed for oil. And the rubber hose is heat resistant.
You bet! Included with every order is the oil drain valve, drain tube actuator assembly, & washer.
Yes, in fact we encourage you to do so. Draining the oil hot results in a quicker oil change.
No, when the washer is installed the drain valve is designed to sit flush with the inside of the pan, thereby releasing all the oil. The valve works best when oil is changed regularly.

To make oil changes easier for millions of auto enthusiasts everywhere
We are a small company originating in rural Oklahoma. Our business was born out of a desire to simplify the oil change process. After visiting 5 different automotive retailers, and conducting an exhaustive internet search, we quickly discovered no acceptable solution exists.
Some products provide only a valve, but no tubing. This only solves part of the problem because splatter still exists. Other products provide a valve and tubing, but the valve protrudes too far from the oil pan, causing a problem for low-clearance vehicles. Some products provide a valve and tubing, but the valve contains a lever, which could potentially jar open during vehicle operation.
With that in mind, we set out for an adventure to uncover the best method for extracting oil. Our valve had to offer a superior design, but be offered at a low price. The final product was meticulously designed by a mechanical engineer with over 40 years’ experience working on cars.
