17 Quart Oil Drain Pan - Large 4 Gallon Capacity with Pour Spout - Heavy Duty

My husband changes the oil on our vehicles as well as my parents vehicles. He had an oil pan already, however, one of the vehicles takes more oil, so emptying the old oil was more hassle than needed. This oil pan has a larger capacity, so he can empty all of the oil in one shot. Also, he was happy with the pour spout, as he said his other pan could get quite messy with dumping afterwards. He is very happy with this pan and felt it was a good upgrade from the previous one that he was using.

This thing's no joke, it's made of some thick & sturdy plastic and is unlikely to break even in professional shop environments. It's certainly better than most drain pans I've used - and as a former mechanic I've used a lot of these. The spout makes pouring into oil storage containers super easy, but the one downside to this spout design is that they tend to continue dripping residual oil after using them, so you have to store them pointing up or over another drip-pan or else you'll end up with oil spots all over your floor. Other designs do have a screw-on cap to contain this, and frankly I really wish this had one. Nonetheless, it's still a great product in my opinion.

Great oil drain pan for work! I've been using this in my professional shop for several days, and it has held up wonderfully. Holds plenty of oil or coolant, and is super easy to hold/move around as well as empty!

Holds the thirteen quarts out of my diesel with a little room to spare, but it's large capacity and diameter are also helpful while servicing my toy 4Runner. I can drain the five and a half quarts and pull the filter without having to crawl out from under to dump and reposition. It is good and stout so should provide a few years of rough service. Sure wish it had a plug on the spout though, dragging it out with 13 quarts in it can get a little sloppy even with a rag stuffed in it.

This drain pan has been great! I was due for an oil change and this made it that much easier.My last one was cheap, it was flimsy and would flex especially when you'd have it filled to the brim with oil which made pouring the oil out a slow pain. This one is basically the opposite of that. It's so nice to have a nice drain pain for oil changes. It actually saves time and effort. It's very sturdy without any flexing, not even a little, it's a large drain pan (listing measurements are accurate- 16Liters / 4Gallons / 17Quarts 6" deep, 23" length) with a recessed edge, handles and a spout which all come together for easy pouring. If you collet your oil to recycle like most do, all those features make it so much easier. I pour back into those 5 quart oil jugs, and I've never had an easier experience.It's great. It's a simple drain pan but it's great and I'd recommend anyone get it.
